The parents of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala have reportedly welcomed their second child, approximately two years following the tragic death of the renowned artist, who was fatally shot in Indian Punjab in May 2022.
Charan Kaur, the 58-year-old mother of the late singer, along with Balkaur Singh, lost their only child two years ago. However, the couple made the decision to expand their family with the birth of their second child.
Sidhu’s father took to social media to share the joyous news, announcing the arrival of their newborn. Singh posted a photo of the baby alongside a celebratory cake adorned with the late singer’s image in the background.
According to reports in Indian media, the parents underwent IVF treatment abroad last year in hopes of conceiving a child. They chose to keep this development private until the procedure proved successful.
Moosewala tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022. Subsequently, gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder of the singer and rapper, leading to 25 arrests thus far.
Despite his untimely demise, the late singer remained immensely popular among the youth. Several of his songs were released posthumously, achieving millions of views.
